Food Revolution Day!

Bonjour,

As you know, I’m a proud Ambassador of Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution Day… And 2015 Food Revolution Day is approaching fast: it’s exactly in 2 weeks on 15/05/15!

STOP the #1 KILLER. NOW.

Food Revolution Day is an annual celebration and awareness builder each year and the brain child of Jamie Oliver, back in 2012. It’s all about getting kids loving real food and learning to cook across the globe! By fighting for every child’s right to food education, we can help reverse the frightening rise in obesity levels and diet-related diseases, #1 KILLER:

  • By 2030, 41% of the world population (or 2.1 billion people) will be overweight or obese.
  • Worldwide, there are more than 42 million children under the age of five who are either overweight or obese.
  • Diet-related diseases, such as obesity, diabetes, heart failure and stroke, are among the world’s biggest killers… Australia and New Zealand are leading the way with the US in the obesity epidemic…

WATCH JAMIE.

Joining Food Revolution Day is so important here when 1 in 4 kids and 3 in 5 adults in Australia and New Zealand are overweight or obese. Watch Jamie talk about why it is critical to teach every kid about food. He’s so spot on…

WIN! IT’S EASY, FUN AND FREE.

While there are loads of local events on around the world, one easy and fun way to get involved is to join us to the Big Virtual Cookathon. The challenge: let’s be more than 10,000 participating to this wonderful initiative led by the brilliant and passionate Ambassador, Alexx Stuart. There are lots of fantastic cooking-related prizes up for grabs on the day. More info HERE.

SIGN THE PETITION!

You can also SIGN AND SHARE the global petition calling on the leaders and governments of G20 countries to make food education a compulsory part of every school curriculum. We need 1,000,000 people to sign it. We are already 741,325! Sign the petition HERE.

WANT TO DO MORE?

You can do so much more! For more details and fabulous ideas on other ways to get involved, visit the Food Revolution Day website HERE.

Have a fabulous REVOLUTION week!
